im thinking of getting one of these since i work nights and cant make halftime bets etc. doens anyone have one of these? good experience? the only thing i dont like is the minutes package. right now i have a 1,000 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends for 39.95. But if i get the blackberry, i would have unlimited web access but only 1000 anytime minutes. (no free nights and weekends). for like 59.99. I need a lot more minutes than that. Comments?

There's the Blackberry Pearl 8801 that's coming out soon. Looks real nice. I bet using my Treo 650 so if you can get a Treo that'll work good too.

The CrackBerry, don't do it unless you want to be over connected.

Sometimes you don't have a choice because your work requires you to have one. That's the case for me at least. I do know what you mean to be overly connected. I turn mine off once I get home.

I think they mean that you are ALWAYS connected to the net. It's nice to be able to detach from it all once in a while. A friend of mine just took a trip to Mexico, sans laptop, and kept the cell phone off for 4 days. Needless to say I was jealous.

You know how annoying it is when you are hanging out with someone and they are always on there cell phone, add checking email every couple minutes, if you get one resist the Crackberry Hole.

Yep that's it. They're trying to make the Blackberry more sexy to the average user. Clearly they are not the best looking phones out there but people swear by them because of the email. With the Pearl they're hoping people will try it out.
